Coherent Magnetization Dynamics Investigated with Magneto Optical Four Wave Mixing

Abstract

A three beams four wave mixing experiment using ultrashort pulses in a magneto optical configuration is presented. It allows distinct measurements of population and coherent contributions of magnetization dynamics in a ferrimagnetic bismuth doped garnet.
