Plasmonic nanoparticle interaction in hybrid plasmonic-dielectric waveguides

Abstract

We theoretically and experimentally investigate plasmonic nanostructures that are fabricated atop a dielectric waveguide. Different geometric parameters lead to a strongly tunable dispersion that displays even negative group velocity. We analyze the underlying coupling mechanisms.
