Spectral interferometric microscopy reveals absorption by individual optical nano-antennas from extinction phase

Abstract

We demonstrate a method to extract absorption and scattering from phase and intensity measurements of extinction from a single optical nano-antenna by developing a novel spectrally resolved interferometer integrated within a confocal microscope.
