Photon transport and localization in optical superlattices

Abstract

Here we examine the photon transport and collimation in optical superlattices, involving transverse guided resonances and disorder-induced localization. With increasing structural disorder, we observe the crossover from cascaded guided resonances into transverse localization modes.
