Polarization switching in stretched pulse fiber laser

Abstract

We studied experimentally polarization dynamics in a carbon nanotube mode locked stretched pulse fiber laser. For the first time, polarization locked, regular and irregular polarization switching have been observed at the microsecond time scale.
