Serial time-encoded amplified microscopy (STEAM) by fully incoherent noise

Abstract

By introducing a time-lens in the serial time-encoded amplified microscopy (STEAM), its input temporal aperture is greatly enlarged. Therefore, the light source with arbitrary waveform can be applied, especially the amplified spontaneous emission noise.
