Advanced Disc-Ring Optical Nanoantennas Investigated by Photoelectron Emission Microscopy (PEEM)

Abstract

We theoretically and experimentally investigate circular plasmonic disc nanoantennas enhanced in their performance by a surrounding Bragg grating ring structure. PEEM investigations are demonstrated to provide unprecedented insights into the field localization and enhancement.
