Visible Excitation of Surface Plasmon Polariton and Strengthened Nonlinearity in ITO coated Fe:LiNbO3

Abstract

Anisotropic 2D diffraction orders were observed in indium tin oxide (ITO) coated 1.0-mm thick iron-doped lithium noibate (Fe:LN) slabs, which can be satisfactorily by visible excitation of surface plasmon polaritons near ITO/LN interface that was greatly modified by pyroelectric (PY) and bulk photovoltaic (BPV) effects.
