Towards a Large-area Plasmonic Polarization Detector

Abstract

We demonstrate an approach that can characterize the polarization of incident light using a plasmonic crystal realized via bottom up fabrication technique. The concept of spin-orbit interaction is invoked to explain the observed effects.
