Broadband On-Chip Plasmonic Spectroscopy for Near-Infrared Absorption of Aromatic Compounds

Abstract

We demonstrate an ultra-compact on-chip near-infrared spectrometer using plasmonic grating band-pass filter array, providing a broad bandwidth over 270 nm and a high spectral resolution around 10 nm to measure the infrared absorption of xylene.
