Planar Lens at Visible: Metasurface versus Refractive Optics

Not Accessible

Abstract

We demonstrate planar lenses in the visible range (λ = 405nm, 532nm, and 660nm) with superior performance over a commercially-available objective. Planar lenses have focusing efficiencies as high as 86% with a numerical aperture of 0.8.
