Guiding and Coupling Light through Nonlinear Plasmonic Nanosuspensions

Abstract

We demonstrate guiding of a strong infrared beam by a weak visible beam due to plasmonic-resonant soliton formation. Master/slave-type coupling is also observed by tuning the relative strength of two opposite polarizabilities in core-shell nanosuspensions.
