Discrete-variable time-frequency quantum key distribution

Abstract

We demonstrate a setup for realizing a four-dimensional time-frequency quantum key distribution protocol, where discrete temporal states are secured using discrete frequency states. The high-dimensional frequency states are detected using a tree of passively stabilized time-delay interferometers.
