Abstract

We employ a lab-built Ti:sapphire chirped pulse amplifier to generate third-harmonic vortex beams by femtosecond pulse filamentation in air. The generated beams follow the orbital- angular-momentum conservation and phase-matching condition between the fundamental and third-harmonic waves.
