Circular Gratings for Efficient Collection from Implanted Silicon Vacancy Centers in Diamond

Abstract

We report a chirped circular nanograting in bulk diamond coupled with implanted silicon-vacancy centers. From simulations we determine 41% low-numerical-aperture collection efficiency, and an expected and measured directionality of 30 and 5 respectively.
