Abstract
We realized all-optical tunable optical devices based on Fano Resonance and Plasmon-Induced Transparency in multilayer transition-metal-oxide metamaterials. Two devices are achieved with low threshold pump intensity and an ultrafast response time. Combined the plasmonic resonance and slow light effect, an enhanced third-harmonic generation (THG) was realized on strontium titanate composite material. Both all-optical modulation and electro-optical modulation are shown in our works. These works may pave a way for realizing of ultrahigh-speed information processing chips based on metamaterials.
