Solid-State Three-Step Model for High-Harmonic Generation from Periodic Crystals

Abstract

Based on direct spatial-grid numerical simulations, we present a simple three-step model capable of explaining multiple cutoff positions, time-frequency structure, and other experimentally observed unique features of high-harmonic generation from solids.
