Spectrally unentangled photon pairs from microring resonators using pump-pulse tailoring

Abstract

We show that a tailored pump-pulse spectrum can be used to completely eliminate spectral correlation in photon pairs generated from spontaneous four-wave mixing in nonlinear microring resonators.
