Spatial-Mode Switchable Ring Fiber Laser Based on Low Crosstalk Few-mode Fiber and Mode MUX/DEMUX

Abstract

A spatial-mode switchable ring fiber laser based on low mode-crosstalk few-mode fiber and mode multiplexer/demultiplexer (MUX/DEMUX) is proposed. We experimentally demonstrate that output lasing mode can be switched among the three lowest-order LP modes.
