Tracking the Phase Transition in VO2 using High Harmonic Spectroscopy

Abstract

We investigate the dynamics of the insulator-to-metal phase transition in VO2 with high temporal resolution using a new method of time-resolved high harmonic spectroscopy in a solid-state system, revealing all electronic states involved.
