Orbital-angular-momentum azimuthal phase-shift-keying via digital holography through turbulent media

Abstract

We report a digital holographic technique for retrieving the OAM azimuthal phase difference of coherent beams co-propagating through turbulence. Experimental results suggest that OAM phase-shift keying schemes are feasible for large-bandwidth free-space optical communication.
