Abstract
Using extremely broad-band mid-infrared pulses (3-14 µm), and a single shot spectrometer, we probe ultrafast chemistry at high pressures (~20 GPa) through changes in the vibrational spectrum. Here we present results on shocked benzene and nitromethane.
