Dynamics for encircling an exceptional point in a nonlinear non-Hermitian system

Abstract

We study the dynamics of a non-Hermitian system with gain saturation nonlinearity. We find the chiral state transfer behavior is recovered, and new phenomenon such as bistability and high gain threshold lasing emerges.
