Efficient four wave mixing and low-loss adiabatic incoupling in hybrid gap plasmonic waveguides

Abstract

We show four-wave-mixing over 2 pm with 1% signal-to-idler conversion efficiency enabled by sttong non-linearities and highly confined fields. We also demonstrate low-loss incoupling into nanometer gaps with an efficiency of 80%.
