Resonant dissipative Kerr soliton supercontinuum in the normal dispersion regime

Abstract

We demonstrate broadband resonant supercontinuum generation in a Si3N4 microresonator with normal dispersion. Rectangular bright pulses are shown to form directly using synchronous pulse-driving, generating a 2,600-line comb at 28 GHz repetition rate.
