All-optical quadrature measurement of over-THz-bandwidth continuous-wave squeezed light

Abstract

We achieved all-optical quadrature measurement of continuous-wave over-3-dB squeezed light at up to 3.7-THz sideband frequencies using LiNbO3-waveguide optical parametric amplifiers, which showed high-gain broadband phase-sensitive amplification. This technique will lead to ultrafast quantum computation.
