EIT Cooling of Atoms in Optical Dipole Traps

Not Accessible

Your library or personal account may give you access

Abstract

Neutral atoms trapped in an array of optical dipole traps are EIT-cooled to a temperature of Tf = 2.8 μK. With an observed EIT cooling rate of 1400 /s for theory limt of n = 0.03, we measure the average quanta of n = 1.5.
