Extraordinarily Strong Second Harmonic Generation Enhancement in Hybrid Plasmon-Fiber Cavity System

Abstract

We demonstrate a high-quality plasmon-fiber cavity in a doubly resonant configuration which can exhibit second-harmonic generation with over 5 orders of magnitude enhancement compared to gold nanoparticles on a fused silica substrate.
