Frequency-to-time Mapping-Assisted Spectral Characterization of Parametric Biphoton States

Abstract

A frequency-to-time mapping technique is employed to directly characterize the biphoton state from a pulsed spontaneous parametric process. For the first time a Hanbury Brown and Twiss measurement is performed directly in the frequency domain.
