Vertical cavity using a heterostructure dual-period high-contrast grating

Abstract

A vertical cavity using a heterostructure dual-period high-contrast grating with a feature size of about 15 nm is demonstrated for the vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser application. The reflectivity spectra of the vertical cavity are measured.
