Abstract

Optical mm-waves are generated via a new frequency-tripling and quadrupling scheme, respectively, which is based on directly modulated optically injection locked Fabry-Pérot laser. Error-free transmission of millimeter-wave signal over 20-km SSMF has been demonstrated.
