Enhancing solar cells with localized plasmons in nanovoids

Abstract

Localized plasmons in silver nanovoids enhance organic solar cell efficiencies experimentally by a factor of four and similarly in a-Si cells, accounted for by theoretical and computational analysis of absorption at the plasmonic interface.
