Metallized Ultrathin Nanocrystalline Si Membranes as Biochemical SPR Sensors

Abstract

Metal-coated ultrathin nanocrystalline Si membranes provides a novel substrate for biochemical sensing. FDTD simulations show SPR formation. The SPR peak is polarization dependent. Sensing experiments are performed with IPA and methanol.
