Frequency-Domain Adaptive Equalization in Digital Coherent Receivers

Abstract

Aiming at the reduction of computational complexity of conventional time-domain equalizers in digital coherent receivers, we propose and demonstrate a novel frequency-domain adaptive equalization technique based on the constant-modulus algorithm.
