Electro-Optical Tunable Time Delay and Advance in Silicon Feedback-Microring Resonators

Abstract

We report electro-optical tunable time delay/advance using silicon feedback-microring resonators integrated with p-i-n diodes. We demonstrate tuning of time delay/advance from -84 to 114 ps at a fixed resonance wavelength by changing feedback phase.
