Terahertz Metamaterials: Recent Developments and New Opportunities

Abstract

The field of terahertz metamaterials is approximately six years old. I will overview recent developments in the design, fabrication, and characterization of metamaterials and discuss new opportunities which may help fill the ever shrinking THz gap and are, further, of fundamental interest.
