Lasing and spontaneous emission in gap-plasmon mode Bragg grating waveguides

Abstract

We show strong spontaneous emission modification in subwavelength gap-plasmon mode Bragg grating metal waveguides. The gratings are extremely broadband and have a coupling factor significantly higher than the strongest dielectric gratings.
