Fiber laser pumped, microsecond, single frequency, nested cavities OPO for spectroscopy in the 3.0 - 3.5 µm range

Abstract

We report a mid-infrared optical source based on a microsecond, fiber laser pumped, nested cavities, optical parametric oscillator. Power, frequency tuning, frequency purity are studied and compared to the specifications for spectroscopy.
