Actively Mode-Locked Optical Parametric Oscillator Using Low-Frequency Phase-Modulation

Abstract

We report active mode-locking of a continuous-wave optical parametric oscillator in doubly- and singly-resonant configuration using direct low-frequency electro-optic phase-modulation, generating 533ps and 230ps pulses at 80MHz, respectively.
