Tunable Complex-Weight All-Optical IIR Filter Design based on Conversion/Dispersion Delays

Abstract

We propose and study the design of a tunable optical infinite-impulse-response filter based on conversion/dispersion delays. Design guidelines are presented to alleviate the effects of the inherent system propagation delay.
