Demonstration of OAM Mode Distortions Monitoring using Interference-Based Phase Reconstruction

Abstract

We present OAM mode distortion monitoring by using an interferometer with π/2 phase-shift to reconstruct the phase profile without any movement of instruments. Monitoring of distortion caused by misalignment and atmospheric turbulence are successfully demonstrated.
