Sub-150 fs Pulses from a Tm:KLuW Oscillator in the 2 µm Wavelength Range

Abstract

Femtosecond mode-locking of a Tm:KLu(WO4)2 laser using a single-walled carbon nanotubes based saturable absorber is demonstrated. Pulses as short as 142 fs are generated at a wavelength of ~2040 nm.
