Microwave resonator for generation of microplasmas in Hollow-Core Photonic Crystal Fibers

Abstract

We report on new class of microwave resonator enabling generation of a stable microplasma in 100 µm core-diameter kagome-latticed HCPCF without any structural damage. Blue Ar+ lines are successfully generated with low microwave power.
