Abstract

A Broad-band low-loss no-cut-off THz near-field imaging technique has been demonstrated experimentally. Using a tapered parallel-plate waveguide as a probe this technique is able to resolve sub-wavelength (λ ~ 600 µm-6 mm) features of size ~100 µm.
