Generation of 110 W Infrared Power and 65W Green Power from a 1.3-GHz Sub-picosecond Fiber Amplifier

Abstract

A fiber amplifier that achieves sub-picosecond pulse duration and greater than 100 W average power at 1.3-GHz repetition rate is reported. Frequency-doubling of the amplified pulses yields 65 W green power.
