Generation of a 650 nm – 2000 nm Laser Frequency Comb based on an Erbium Fiber Laser

Abstract

We present an Er:fiber based laser frequency comb spanning 650 nm – 2000 nm that employs amplification in Yb:fiber followed by continuum generation. Comb coherence is verified with f-2f interferometry and comparison to frequency stabilized lasers.
