Integrated liquid-core optical fibers for ultra-efficient nonlinear liquid photonics

Abstract

We have developed a technique that allows splicing of liquid core optical fiber (LCOF) to standard fiber with low loss. As an example, we demonstrated ultralow threshold Raman generation in an integrated CS2 filled LCOF.
