Abstract

Room temperature photoluminescence in Fe:ZnSe is observed under near-absorption-edge Quantum Cascade Laser (QCL) pumping. Both the spectral characteristics (λpeak ≈ 4.7 μm) and the luminescence lifetime (τ ≈ 0.38 μs) are measured.
