Megawatt Peak Power Picosecond Pulse Fiber Amplifier Based on Divided-Pulse Amplification

Abstract

We report the generation of 2.2 ps pulses with energy up to 2.5 μJ and peak power up to 1 MW through divided-pulse amplification, combined with the use of circular polarization.
