Imaging of Local Photo-excited Current in Solar Cell Using a Laser Terahertz Emission Microscope

Abstract

We have succeeded in detecting the terahertz waves generated from the solar cell under the irradiation of femtosecond laser pulses. This technique has enabled to visualize instantaneous power generation in the solar cell.
